Whip constructed by Percy Grainger from a white painted drumstick combined with a small leather whip, green cord tip, lashed into place with heavy white linen thread. Inscribed on drumstick shaft: "Gretich-Gladstone Drums. French Horns. M. Lacroix Woodwinds. Zildian Cymbals. Batons."
